Phillip Schermer
Founder & CEO of Project Health Minds
A new nonprofit is developing a playbook to guide companies in supporting employees’ mental health, plus a free online clearinghouse for anyone seeking help. Project Healthy Minds is building what it calls the “first direct-to-consumer digital mental health marketplace” — a one-stop shop for finding a crisis hotline, a psychiatrist, a substance abuse treatment program or other relevant help.
Liz Feld
CEO of Radical Hope Foundation
We invite you to join us for the first in a series of monthly speakers as part of the new Shalom Ministry: Liz Feld, CEO of the Radical Hope Foundation, which was founded by Pam and Phil Martin, along with Larry Bossidy, following the suicide of their son, and Larry’s grandson, in 2017. Ms. Feld will share the foundation’s mission dedicated to addressing the American mental health crisis in the lives of young adults through collegiate skills programming to build resilience while strengthening connections and community. Fairfield University is participating in this programming, and a Fairfield student will join us to speak of her positive experience.
