To make the new Shalom Ministry at Greenfield Hill Church a success and to reach our community with vibrant programs, special events and other valuable resources, we encourage volunteers to contribute their time and talent in a variety of ways.

Shalom Ministry Steering Committee
- Need six-eight volunteers to meet monthly and make plans for launching new activities and events associated with the Shalom Ministry; each take on an area of interest/activity
- Review and approval process based on audience reach and types of activities
- Calendar schedule and plan and/or approve speakers and other wellness events
- Assessment of events – post-event evaluation; changes/future improvements
- Budget – assist with fundraising as needed, secure honorarium for speakers/refreshments or other costs as appropriate
Speakers Series & Special Events
- Research and book speakers and organize events (get event volunteers)
- Reservations/confirmations
- Coordinate Event Details and Promotion with Communication Volunteers
- Speaker Event Logistics (sound system, seats, live streaming, event hosts)
- Evening Volunteers: set up, take down, greet visitors; refreshments?
- Recap events for web site
- Provide post-event assessment; i.e. audience reach/target, attendance, feedback, updates for follow up events.

- Post Articles of interest on web site
- Share event news for GHCC’s weekly e-newsletter
- Source and Post Community Reflections Section
- Source and update Resources Page
- Create and Maintain a Shalom Ministry Calendar of Events and incorporate into the GHCC Calendar of events
- Share Shalom Ministry Events via Web, Social Media and Poster Promotion
