SHALOM Community Conversation: “Loneliness: A Shared Experience”
Sunday, January 28, 2024, from 11:45 am – 1 pm in the Parlor (A light lunch served)

Please join together for the next Shalom Ministry sponsored Community Conversation on the important topic of our day of “Loneliness: A Shared Experience”. Regardless of your age, we all experience the unsettled emotions of loneliness. The conversation will be led by Cheryl Bundy, Director of Spiritual Care at Silver Hill Hospital, who will discuss the various aspects of loneliness; how to recognize it, how to manage it and practical suggestions on how to address it. Cheryl will be joined in the discussion by GHCC’s own Brenda Steele, Director of Fairfield’s Bigelow Senior Center, who will share her thoughts on isolation and loneliness, especially among older citizens. And our Pastor of Community Care, Rev. Brian Bodt, will bring his perspective.
