“Loneliness: A Shared Experience”

Please join together for the next Shalom Ministry sponsored Community Conversation on the important topic of our day of “Loneliness: A Shared Experience”. Regardless of your age, we all experience the unsettled emotions of loneliness. This discussion is conveniently offered after the 10:30 am service on Sunday, January 28, 2024 in the church’s Parlor.

The conversation will be led by Cheryl Bundy (bio below) who will discuss the various aspects of loneliness; how to recognize it, how to manage it and practical suggestions on how to address it.  Cheryl will be joined in the discussion by GHC’s own ministers Brian Bodt and Alida Ward who will share their perspectives.

About Cheryl Bundy:
Cheryl is the Director of Spiritual Care at Silver Hill Hospital where she has worked since 2017. She also served as a chaplain at Norwalk Hospital where she completed 1600 hours of Clinical Pastoral Education. She is a Board-Certified Chaplain and she was ordained as an interfaith minister by NYC based All Faiths Seminary International. Cheryl came to chaplaincy and ministry after an early career on Wall Street and as a non-profit Development Director. She is a graduate of Yale Divinity School, The Wagner School of Public Service at New York University and Smith College.  She is currently a candidate for a Doctor in Ministry in Integrated Mental Health Chaplaincy at Vanderbilt Divinity School.
