Alida will run our GHCC ‘Book Chat’, get-togethers for good conversation on good books. This Fall, two books that a lot of you have already been reading! — one about Appalachia, the other based in India. On Tuesday, October 17th, we’ll talk about Barbara Kingsolver’s Demon Copperhead, and on Tuesday, Nov. 28th, it’s The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese. 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Church Parlor.
