The Adult Ed Board is happy to announce that Professor Olena Lennon will be returning on Sunday, October 15th (after 10:30 worship, in the Sanctuary) to update us on the current status of the war in Ukraine and share current insights. Born and raised in Eastern Ukraine, she has deep contacts there and she last spoke to us on this topic last October not long after the Russian invasion. Her well-attended presentation offered insights beyond what we normally hear in mainstream US media. Dr. Lennon is a Practitioner in Residence of National Security where she teaches courses on US Foreign and Defence Policy and related topics.  She is co-editor of an online scholarly forum “Eyes on Donbas: Politics, Places and People at the Harvard Ukrainian Institute. She formerly was a Fulbright Scholar and holds a PhD from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
