In anticipation of the 300th anniversary of the Greenfield Hill Church the Adult Ed board has invited Justin Hawkins, a PhD candidate at Yale University, to speak Tuesday, May 2 at 7:30pm in our Sanctuary on the subject of “Jonathan Edwards and the Great Awakening”. Justin Hawkins not only has a deep knowledge of this famous theologian (JE is the grandfather of our own Timothy Dwight) but has written a paper on Edwardian theology and Climate Change that will bring a very contemporary view to what he presents.
